thought I'd also try out the edit feature...  

below each poster's siggy there is a contact function

you can send anyone an email - while it doesn't list the actual email address, I'm not sure I like that anyone can send me an email - we all know how nasty and annoying the troll can be!

your thoughts on this? - thought I'd try out the poll feature!

I don't like that once you click on "send an email," it shows the email address.  I don't want anyone and everyone on the Nest to be able to email me!

That is a REALLY bad feature.  Scary, in fact. . .my email address is not something I want public!

I didn't realize that it does that.  When I click send an email, it just says the person's screen name.  My email shows, but I would expect that, since I'm the one sending them an email..

We should test it out to see...someone send me an email and see if you can tell me my address from doing that....

Sorry, my mistake!  It does just show MY address, not the person I'm sending it to.  I apologize for freaking you guys out!

Yeah, when I hit that, all it shows is my email and the person's screen name. So, unless that person responds back, they won't have your email address.

But, that would be really awful if it could. I'm not really a fan of it in general. I'd rather just do a PM here. Although, if the nest would tell you when you had a message (ala myspace) that would be best, IMO.

I don't know if I like the idea of that. Even if it is an old account which I rarely check. I'd rather have it be a PM like Danse just said.
