we didn't get to del mar until around 2:45. we just never can get going in the morning to get there early! 
how's things going w/ brenda? porkchop, cali & her getting along ok?

Hey! We got there at 1 and left around 4:30. We had a meetup, so there were about 11 English Bulldogs there with us.
We didn't get Brenda. Things don't always go as planned. When we went to pick her up, she attacked PC out of nowhere. The rescue lady was mortified. So we got a 14 month old sharpei mix instead and she is working out wonderfully. Cali loves her, PC loves her and they play really well and she is wonderful at gated dog parks and plays well with other dogs. We did not bring her yesterday because we are working on letting her off leash and her recall, which is not good at this time. If she takes off, she will not come back (that's how she ended up at the shelter, then rescue in the first place), so the rescue lady told us it's best to leave her home than to have her be tempted to run away at dog beach.
