So Gross...

So we have an invasion of like little moths or something. They are tiny, smaller than mosquitoes and I think they are coming out of the tub when we turn it on. Anyone know what they are, or how I can get rid of them? Are they in the pipes?

Re: So Gross...

  • Never seen / heard of such thing. My first inctinct is to call an exterminator!

  • Maybe you can try closing the drain at night and during the day when you guys are gone to see if it helps. If anything when you open it, you'll see them come out and know for sure that's they are in the pipes. Maybe there's a small opening somewhere in the house where they are getting in.
  • I don't know how they would be getting in your pipes, but I have seen them, they love flowering bushes and trees. We got rid of them by ripping out the bushes but I'm guessing you don't have that opinion so I would do what PP said and close off the drain and see if that is where they are coming from and call a pest control company if you don't have one. • I just thought of something, pour some drain cleaner or vingar down the drain if thats where they are coming from.
  • I sprayed windex down hopefully that helps.
