Poll: What book are you reading?
I just started The Memory of Water by Karen White. I'm only a few pages into it...but so far so good!
What about you?
Re: Poll: What book are you reading?
I love Jodi Picoult books!
I enjoyed this book.
Little Earthquakes by Jennifer Weiner
great book. make sure you watch the movie afterwards!
I'm reading Chasing Harry Winston by Lauren Weisberger. I just finished Certain Girls by Jennifer Weiner.
I need to read my What to Expect While You're Expecting book...right now DH is reading it!! :-)
I also read:?
?The Memory Keepers Daughter by Kim Edwards - really enjoyed it.?
?Little Earthquakes by Jennifer Weiner - ABSOLUTELY loved it.
Did the Twilight books. Enjoyable enough story, not great writing.
Certain Girls by Jennifer Weiner - seriously, this story made me cry over and over.?

My Photography Blog
I've been trying to read this since it came out last summer! I'm really disappointed in Lauren's 3rd book. I've been a huge follower, but have only made it through half the book. I finally put it back on my book shelf. So maybe on my cruise in 3 weeks I will take it with me.
I am not much of a reader, but my husband is, and he has a stack of books for me to start reading. I think I might bring Revolutionary Road on our cruise too... I want to read the book before I see the movie!
Yeah... I just think its so hard to follow The Devil Wears Prada up... I'm working my way through the Harry Potter series.. On #5 now.
that's a good one!
I was late to the Twilight craze too and enjoyed the books
Chasing Harry was much better than Everyone worth knowing - or whatever the title was
Wow--I'm shocked... I LOVED Everyone Worth Knowing; it was such an easy read for me, and I couldn't put the book down--I was addicted to it. I'm just not getting this from Chasing Harry... but everyone has different taste... that's what makes us all unique
Both of Lauren's first two books were amazing, so maybe my expectations have been set too high, and that's why I'm not enjoying this 3rd book!
Same here. I even managed to talk my husband into reading them. LOL
I liked the 2nd and 3rd of Lauren's books... Quick, easy reads, but to me, they just didn't compare to Devil Wears Prada. Good, but not as fab.
FWIWI just got finished reading Revolutionary Road last week and thought it was really good and thought provoking but I personally wouldn't recommend taking it on the cruise. Its really depressing and I personally would rather read something funner, happier, livelier, and not about unhappy marriages. Its a great book though! I read it and then went and watched it at the dollar movie theater.

Sorry for the duplicate posts. My computer is acting up.
I'm reading HP1 right now and then I'm jumping to Angels and Demons so I can finish it before the movie comes out. Then I'm jumping back to the HP books so I can start watching the movies. Believe it or not I've never seen or read any of the books/movies.
KKandJJ I am way late in responding to your post. I don't really remember about the Everyone book....I think Chasing Harry was a little predictable...but most of the chicklit type books are.
Have you ever read any of the Jennifer Weiner books? I really like her books...but I didn't really care for this last one - Certain Girls.
Jane Green has some really cute books, too, I'm behind on hers I'm sure, but they usually are mindless easy reads and I don't think any of them have disappointed.
I get my books from the library now though to save the $$. They deliver for free!
