Help from Florida girls
My entire family is wanting to vacation in Florida on a beach this summer. We are looking to rent a condo type place that has a pool as well. We have looked at Ft. Lauderdale, Clearwater, and Marco Island. Do any of you know of a place that is reasonable with three bedrooms or have any suggestions?

3 Bedroom condos are hard to come by. We go with my inlaws every summer for a wk to Sarasota (Siesta Key), and we always have trouble finding a place. What we have begun doing is BIL/SIL with the kids rent one condo, and DH and I stay in another 2 bedroom condo w/ the inlaws.
If you really want to stay together, I'd recommend renting a house. South Seas Island Resort (in Captiva Island) has townhomes and acutal house w/ 3 bedrooms. It is right on the water, and they have many community pools around the resort. It is a bit more on the expensive side, but very nice area.
Lately, we have been staying at the Palm Bay Club, and they have 2 bedroom condos, and also offer studios. I HIGHLY recommend staying in the Tower if this is your choice, especially considering the kiddos (which are adorable btw). It can be a hike to the beach otherwise. I will say though, the pool is a walk from the beach. Oh, I just noticed they have 1 3bedroom suite... hopefully it is available w/ your schedule!
Just as an FYI, Marco Island is also a nice area, if that is what you are looking into. I'm just not familiar w/ the condos in the area. I've stayed at the Marriot and the Marco Ocean Beach Resort, but the later can be a bit on the pricey side.

Ditto on Sanibel/Captiva, that's my favorite place to go! A few years back my mom rented a home there that was 4 BR with a pool and short walk to the beach.

I saved it because I thought it looked so pretty. It's a hotel in the Keys featuring beach homes that are up to 3 BR.
