A girlfriend of mine told me:
Take 5-10 minutes right before your wedding to have time to YOURSELF. No bridesmaids, mothers, sisters, etc. Just take time out to relax, breathe, etc. The whole day is so rushed, and it will go by so fast.
Take 5-10 minutes after the ceremony to sneak away with just your DH...this will be the only time you have to really see each other the whole day-no photographer, no parents, no anyone but you two. This was one of my favorite moments of the day (we snuck away after ceremony/family photos while eveyrone else was at cocktail hour).
Enjoy it! It goes by WAY too fast.

Be prepared for something to go "wrong"--not everything will go as planned and it does no good to fret over them! I woke up the morning of my wedding to Santa Ana winds that were so strong they blew open the hotel room door that was locked!!
Relax and make sure to eat.
Wedding night sex is not always that great. Chances are you will be so worn out that you will crash as soon as you get back to your room or you will fall asleep during sex!
