Helloooo ... what has everyone been up to?  DH and I have been working on finances and that fun stuff for the last several weeks.  Ick!!!  We seem to have lots on the plate and several trips coming up here soon.  DS and I are off to the Grand Canyon next weekend while oldest DS is at a high school swim invitational and DH enjoys being a bachelor for the weekend.  High school swim season is in full force and today my oldest DS was named ATHLETE OF THE MONTH for his high school.  OMG, I am so proud of him. 

Must go to grocery store now ..... there is nothing to eat according to the kids when the pantry and frig is FULL!!

I am home, waiting for DH to get home from work.  Tuesdays are the late nights at his firm bc of his firm meeting, so I sit home waiting, sipping a glass of wine, ebaying and nesting.    I'm cooking baked garlic rice and chicken marsala, but it's kinda on hold until he calls and tells me he's on his way.  I'm leaving for Boston for a week long conference so I'm getting mentally and physically prepared.  I've never been, so I'm excited, but as cheesey as it sounds, I'm bummed to leave Jeff and my dog.  I'm the youngest from my company who is going, so I'm just hoping everyone is willing to spend time with me!!

Sounds like you have your hands full!  I read your post on the travel board and I'm surprised to hear you don't like Vegas.  I never knew that!  I went to Marche Baccus on Friday and I thought of you since we were probably down the street from your house.  I love that neighborhood.  DH was so envious when he came to pick me up (I didn't drive because we were wine tasting and I didn't want to risk it).  He had never been to that part of town and was so jealous of all of the trees and grass! 

Where are the rest of you ladies?  It's been dead around here?  RSP...you working hard at Town Square?  I go there at least once a week (obsessed much?). I just don't want to stop in to WHBM and be too stalkerish.

No Las Vegas is not my favorite place to live.  All it would take would be for P&W to tell DH we are moving and the bags will be packed.  Most of the dislike comes from the school district here and the fact that these big casinos do not contribute to the education of the children living here.  I do not mind Las VEgas as long as I am away from the Strip (which I never go to anyway).

I LOVE the Summerlin / Desert Shores area.  Within a mile from our house are two grocery stores, retail, dining, etc.  Target is right down the road and hell, we are spitting distance from Red Rock as well.  Unfortunately though, the housing market is not helping us right now with three houses for sale in our neighborhood.  Oh well, the economy.

We need to do a GTG soon!!!!  Who wants to plan this one?

Me! We (DH) just finished re-vamping our budget since we're house hunting and all that. Blah, I hate that sort of thing. I am out of my mind busy with school, work, and other stuff. Once I am done with school I'll plan a GTG, but before that I just can't. We're going on so many trips! Not necessarily big ones, but a whole bunch of small ones. Six Flags next week, my youngest cousin graduates high school in May, another cousin is getting married sometimes before August and then she is due with her baby in September, we're going to Pennsylvania in August, California in October, Pennsylvania again in March for a wedding we're in... I *think* that's it. m+j - come in and see me whenever you want. I'm there Thursday - Sunday.
