I love the Logan Shoals picture!!!  DH and I are heading up there in July to celebrate our anniversary a little late and he brought up the idea of going back to Logan Shoals for a bit of memory (I am thinking of possibly taking a romantic little picnic for us at sunset).

Thanks.  I have tons more.  I'm not sure if you ever saw them or not, but we got some great pictures at Logan Shoals, if you want to see some more let me know.  I'm glad you guys decided to go back to Tahoe for your anniversary.  We want to go back so bad.. Another place you might want to consider doing the picnic thing is where the boats take off "in town".  That was a nice beach and you could probably come up with something there if you wanted.  Didn't you guys get married at Logan Shoals?  We didn't go down to where the ceremony parts were, but up on the outlook part.  We got some amazing pictures - almost killed myself in the process on those rocks, but it was totally worth it.

Yes we got married at Logan Shoals.  I absolutely love that location but as I have looked at our pictures from Matt here in the last couple of weeks, I wish he had gotten a bit more creative with some.  Sorry, but I really liked Verns photos the best - said to say after we spent so damn much on photos.  Oh well.  I am contemplating contacting Vern to do some romantic 1 year anniversary photos for me maybe.  I want really romantic and fun photos - something I do not think we got with Matt's photos.

As for our trip to Tahoe, all the hotels are so damn expensive for the weekends.  The Lakeshore wants $270 a NIGHT for a regular room.  Hello!!!  With all the other huge expenses we have coming (ie sons trip to Holland costing us $6500) I am trying really hard not to spend tons.  Oh well ... we shall see.

Blonde moment overcome!!!  I found his email and website and have already sent him a request for pricing and stuff.  I think beach shots and possible water type shots at Sand Harbor would be awesome!!!  I want the romantic shots Matt did not get for us.  Am I being silly in wanting this???

WHAT????  $270 a night?  Really????  That is crazy.  Maybe you should look at a house - which I of course have been no help with since I still can't find that info for - oh heck who was it...Sara maybe?  Any who - No you are not crazy for wanting those pictures.  Actually Tony and I had planned on doing that for our one year anniversary since we just did some studio portraits for our engagement.  We wanted to do something fun when we thought we would have more money.  Ha we see how well that worked.    I would think that Vernon woud at the very least do a package like that of an engament session for you.  We all know how much I think of him!  Honestly, I think his work has improved since we used him too.  And he still has a couple of pictures from our wedding on the gallery.  His website - incase you have a blond moment again... is www.wileyphoto.com and his phone number is 775 309 3094.  Sorry I didn't respond right away.  I am apparently having major technology issues today.  I am not receiving text messages and am slower the heck... plus I didn't get notified you replied even though I am "watching" this thread.   Maybe my BFF will buy me a phone for my birthday tomorrow - ha what are the chance.  LOL

You so silly!!!  I have not even talked to John about doing these photos yet cause I know what his answer will be .... "we have enough irons in the fire and do not need to spend more money, plus we have the wedding photos".  I hate to say this but at times I regret using Matt only because I specifically said I wanted certain photos and did not get them.  Maybe this will be my incentive to get my ass back on the diet path - I have gained 20 pounds since the wedding no thanks to insulin though. 

Vern still has not responded to my request.  Does he not know I am not patient sometime???  LOL  I will let you know what he comes up with.
