    I hate to say it, but I've seen so much of people being dishonest lately that it is turning me into a big of a pessimist or however you spell that.  With everything that I've seen with COMPANIES being dishonest and allowing this crap to go on.... the little stuff like bank accounts and credit cards seem so small in retrospect.  Granted that's what really effects us and what we care about... its crap that this is allowed to go on, but I think it comes from the companies themselves being dishonest.  You guys know all the job crap that's been going on with me and DH and its going on again.  ANOTHER company is dishonest and trying to screw people.  RSP I don't get it either.  I hope you guys get your situation taken care of and thankfully you caught it so you can fight it and win!  Good Luck girl... and don't forget... document everything!

    OMG ... what happened???  I am a fanatic about things like this and check out accounts daily for this type of BS (we had it happen on a CC already).

    I had it happen on a credit card.  I only used it for emergencies, but one night DH and I decided to use it at dinner.  It was a $55 dinner and I was declined.   I immediately looked at DH and said "someone stole my info.  we're in trouble."  The credit card company worked with me and I got it all straightened out, but I was so p.o.'ed, not to mention scared.  The best part--they spent 2K of my money on PIZZA!  I told the lady at the credit card company, "it wasn't me, I can prove it.  I don't like pizza!!"

    I'm sorry you are going through this.  I know what a PITA it can be.  Let us know if you need any help or just want to vent!

    We ordered new checks and they were either stolen or mis-delivered. Our account is over-withdrawn our savings account is gone, etc. The bank set us up a new account and has a police report out. Since it's all checks luckily there is a 100% paper trail and it is not my nor DH's handwriting. They already returned all of our fees and gave us our money back.

    Wow that is ultimate stupidity!  Glad that they were though, for your sake.  Sounds like things are under control, thank goodness!!!!  :)
