Tahoe Hotel Recomendations

Hey all!!!

I dont post too often however I am in need of  a recomendation.  My DH and 2 step sons will possibly be going to Lake Tahoe for a Wedding this Summer.  Does anyone have any suggestions on a hotel or other lodging options that isnt to $$$$ but is still nice.  Any suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks in advance!!!

Re: Tahoe Hotel Recomendations

  • When we got married in Tahoe June 30, 2007, we had a room block at the Tahoe Lakeshore Lodge and Spa.  We had several kids in our group and they loved being right ont he lakes edge and having a pool there as well.  I highly recommend this hotel - we had a 2 bedroom condo for my group of 5 and all fit perfectly!!!
  • You may also want to check out www.vrbo.com for vacation rentals. I always book through vrbo when I go to Tahoe.

  • I will def check out both thanks sooo much!!
  • I'm a bit late on the post, but we also used Lakeshore Lodge and Spa and our guests really liked it.  I think its been redone also.  But they were really nice and easy to deal with.  Also, I recommend renting a house also.  We did that and ended up having part of the reception there, but that was the most cost effective means that we discovered.  I can try and find more info if you'd like.  Let me know.
