Thanks for doing this Lacey!!! You are the bomb ... now my answers:
1. Are you going to celebrate V-day? What are your plans? Not sure as it will all depend what DH's hours are like at the base today and if they jet engine problems. If he does get to come home early, we will probably just curl up in bed and watch tv as we will have an extra 3 teenagers in the house due to my departure tomorrow AM for the Junior Olympics with DS and the extras.
2. What is the perfect gift for V-day? I love the homemade stuff - that always means the most to me.
3. What was your best V-day gift? Having DH in my life wtih the kids.
4. What was your worst V-day gift? this would have been with the ex so I won't think about it (top is off we got married on V-day so I really try to avoid this day at all costs sometimes)
5. What is the most romantic V-day gift you have given? DH took me away to the Zion Mountain Resort one year and booked us in one of the cabins that had a great fireplace and huge porch with swing! To top it all off, as we drove to Zion, it started to snow so we were greeted with the most perfect dusting of snow for the weekend in the cabin - it was great to curl up on theswing together under a blanket and waste the day away.
6. Did you get anything from DH yet? I got him a card and a bag of Hallmark's conversation hearts which I snuck into his office this morning before he got here on base and left the card and cady there for him to find this morning
7. What did you give DH? I told him not to get me anything - we have spent enough money in the last several months plus he cushioned my wallet with an extra $200 cash for the weekend trip with the kids.
1. Are you going to celebrate V-day? What are your plans? DH and I don't go out on V-day because of the crowds. Tonight I'm cooking Rack of Lamb with a side of asparagus, crab/lobster stuffed mushrooms for appetizer, and chocolate lava cake for dessert. We are also having some champagne I bought in California (so I guess it's technically just sparkling white wine!). For lunch, I'm going out with some of my girlfriends for a heart shaped pizza!
2. What is the perfect gift for V-day? Nothing. I'm just not into Valentine's day. I will just enjoy DH's company. I'm not just saying that either like some girls do, I really don't want anything.
3. What was your best V-day gift? When DH and I were dating, he made me this cute coloring book by hand out of construction paper. It had stick figure pictures of all of the day we met, our lives together, things we had done, etc. I still have it--it's seriously the cutest thing ever.
4. What was your worst V-day gift? I'm not a fan of anything stuffed, and I'm sure I've received some stuffed animals in the past.
5. What is the most romantic V-day gift you have given? See No. 3. That, and one year DH gave me an hour back massage--my all time favorite gift!
6. Did you get anything from DH yet? Nope, we really don't do anything so I'm not expecting a gift. He even told me "now I didn't get you any flowers or a card since we never do anything.
7. What did you give DH? Even though we say we don't get things for each other, I bought him a workout video he's been wantinng--crunchless abs!
1. Are you going to celebrate V-day? What are your plans? Yes - in all honesty I don't know. I think I'm going to make him dinner tonight and dessert. We were going to go to a movie, but with all the job stuff I think we'll save the money.
2. What is the perfect gift for V-day? Diamonds of course (ha ha when aren't they the perfect gift?) But I love flowers so I'd love purple tulips - he gave these to me on our wedding day because I told him I didn't want roses because of my bouquet. So now they are extra special to me.
3. What was your best V-day gift? The first email from my DH. We met the month before, but it took him a month to finally say something to me and it was on Valentines Day - so I'm a bit sentimental about today.
4. What was your worst V-day gift? I dated a guy that did nothing one year - didn't even bother to say happy valentines day
5. What is the most romantic V-day gift you have given? Roses, dinner, wine and lingerie
6. Did you get anything from DH yet? Nope - it's going to be pretty low key this year. Oh wait I got a comment on myspace ... does that count?
7. What did you give DH? I am going to make him a nice dinner I think and maybe get him some chocolate covered pretzels... they are his fav and I made him a card - that he refused to open this morning.

We've never given gifts. Just cards and then hung out together.
