Just to wet your whistle a bit, here is a link to see some of our photos from Alaska on our HM (there are some Olympic Peninsula photos mixed in where we stayed at a B&B for 3 days prior to the cruise). Again, feel free to ask any questions.

I am so sorry I have not assisted you Lacey. I am only out to assist as well as possible and well, maybe this will help you convince DH it is time to go!!! Actually this is just a small portion of the photos we came home with. Alaska is absolutely gorgeous and we have decided that we are going to go back but this time we will be flying in and out of Anchorage with us hitting Denali and all that. I found the most amazing part of the trip to be the floatplane and seeing the bear and cubs out in the wild. It was awesome!!! And then there was Peppy, the humpback whale (I named him that because he was just to peppy and playful).
If you were to do a RT cruise out of Seattle, I would highly recommend going and spending some time on the Olympic Peninsula before hand which is about 1.5 hours west of Seattle. We stayed in a B&B that was awesome - we had our own hot tub on our private patio that overlooked the San Juan Straits - very romantic at 10:00PM after a long day out.
I could go on and on forever about the trip. It is just disappointing that NCL was not what we expected. Oh well ... we survived the down times on the ship with our own activities
*sigh* Once things get on track around here maybe we can do that. It was one of the things that we were considering when we were talking about our honeymoon... that and St. Lucia, but we were trying to be good and not get out of control so we stayed where we were because we had some good connections in the area. Don't get me wrong I loved our honeymoon, and I can't wait to do it again, but those pictures... omg. You should have heard Tony... he said he's now looking for jobs in alaska. I guess whatever works right?
