Hi Everyone, I'm hoping you all can help. My boss just found out she is going to have her granddaughter for 6 months starting in May because her DIL is getting deployed (he son is already deployed). She is scrambling to find a daycare. Her grand daughter is going to be 17 months when she gets here. Can you recommend your daycare center on the WB? She lives in harvey but is willing to travel.
Re: Daycare on the WB
I have heard good things about Wee Care and several of my friends kids go to Future Generations. I personally do not have any experience with these places, my dd goes to a sitter. But, it is a start.

Wee Care is good, has cameras, but is about $130.
Lapalco Learning Center is good, $100, no cameras, but the staff is great.
Creative Kidz is new on Barataria by Eighty Arpent and it's about $160
I've had poor experiences with Rezzie's, in home daycare. They also do not administer meds if a child needs it....(i.e. breathing treatments, antibiotics, etc)
