"How much do you think it would cost to go on a Caribbean cruise?"
Sweet!
Re: DH just asked me
You are so lucky!!! I tried to convince DH over the weekend that we should book a cruise for this summer when the kids are gone, but I doubt it is going to happen Oh well, I am still trying though ...
Who are your going to cruise with? What islands?
Can I recommend a website for your cruise? Try criusecompete.com. You post the cruise that you are interested in, and within minutes, travel agents provide you with the best deal they can offer you on that particular cruise. It's awesome. They don't get your name or contact info, so you don't have to worry about them emailing you five thousand times with special offers and whatnot.
My mom, sister and I went on a cruise a few years ago to celebrate her graduation from college. We left from LA or Long Beach (can't remember), so we were able to drive there. The hotel, which was located next to the port, let us leave our car there for the whole 5 day cruise. Total for the three of us, with drinks and excursions on the cruise and gas to drive to LA and the hotel, was $1200. And that's for 3.
The closer you book it (ie book in January for a February cruise) the better chance you have of getting a sweet deal. We went over Spring Break, so it was a bit crazy, but still so much fun!
