MARRIED LADIES...

Has anything changed since getting married? I know yall hear this alot but I use to say no but now that I really think about it it is a little different? I can't really explain it but it's a difference from just being a girlfriend!!

Peace

Re: MARRIED LADIES...

  • For us, a big ole YES!
Unfortulantly my husband is one of those men who expected things to chang 360 degrees.  It is something we are continuosly working on.
  • The big question I get right now is "how's married life?" and response is "feels the same as before, just a lot happier". Maybe it's because we've only been married for three weeks now, lol. I definetly feel the difference between being a girlfriend and being someones wife though. I guess overall it's feeling of a bigger sense of responsibility.

  • I love being married but it's a lot of work!  Huntress-I agree that things have changed but not quite sure what.  It's funny but getting married was the cherry on top of the "I'm all grown up" sundae.  It's official that I'm not longer my  mom's baby but a wife who has to hold it down.
  • Oh my gosh have things changed.  It's a continual work in progress.  But I love being married and wouldn't change anything for the world.

I have had it with the "So how's married life?"  The other day my boss asked me and I said "Horrible how's your marriage?"  She looked at me like she didn't know what to say next.  My friend and I died laughing (she knew I was going to do it to the next person who asked) and I explained why I said it.  She was so relieved to know I was just joking.

  • That's hilarious cocadoll! I'm gonna use that line one of these days. I would love to see the look on some of their faces...
