? about real estate for homeowners/realtors

In a low cost of living area=(slower market) how long can a home "sit on the market" before it's viewed as a negative thing by a buyer?
Has anyone sold FSBO in Iowa? Any luck?
Thanks!

Re: ? about real estate for homeowners/realtors

  • I live in Iowa City and am thinking about buying soon. I actually babysit for the owner of a great website, fsbo-iowa.com, through which tons of houses have been sold in our area. I don't know about your first question, but it's very normal for houses here to be on the market for at least 6 months, most longer. What city are you looking in? Iowa City is a special case because of the University, but other parts of Iowa move much slower. GL!
