job hunting...
so, i found out today that my postition has been eliminated. i'm really bummed becuase i've got a lot of experience and i didn't make the cut. my hubby and i still haven't taken a honeymoon b/c we bought our house in dec, and we basically trying to save money for a trip somewhere. i was really hoping to get this position b/c then we would have been able to go on a trip, but i guess that will have to wait for awhile again. i have until july 1 to find a new job, then i'm basically cut. i'm just really bummed, and if anyone out there knows of anyone in the advertising/marketing area, let me know! thanks!!

Sorry to hear you're being laid off. I don't have any job leads but just wanted to say sorry.
Do you have any hobbies you could turn in to a business? Anything (direct sales wise) that you really like that you could start doing? I did that when I couldn't afford my bills - worked out great!
Otherwise just check qcemployme.com, monster.com, qconline.com classifieds, dice.com, etc. on a daily basis. I'm sure you'll find something soon!! Good luck!!
