Dr. Ellis at UW Health Fitchburg?

Anyone use him for their pediatrician?  He was recommended to me by my OB today.  Any thoughts?

I'm not familiar with Dr. Ellis -- but I will say that if you're looking at UW Health pediatricians I can without a doubt HIGHLY recommend ours. His name is Dr. Thomas Meier and he's at the 20 S. Park St. location (near Camp Randall). He is wonderful.

Thanks for the info.  I've heard good things about him, too, unfortunately, I don't believe he's accepting new patients (that's what it says on the website, anyway).

If  Dr Meir is accepting patients I would really rev him too. Both of my girls go to him. Isla was born last week (4/4) and he came to the hospital on his day off because he likes to see his own patients. My other daughter will be 2 next month and she had been going to him since birth as well.

There is another ped in that practice that my OBGYN used. I used him at the weekend clinic. If I can remember I will page you. He was very nice and like I said I my OBGYN uses him.

If you really want a particular doctor, I would at least call to see if they'll accept new patients. I think sometimes they'll take them over the phone regardless of what the website says, especially if you have a recommendation from a current patient.
