Madison salons?

Hey girls. Can anyone recommend a salon in Madison? I have to find a place to do my hair for a wedding in August. I'll be staying at the Inn on the Park right on the Capitol, so I'd like something close. Thanks!

Re: Madison salons?

  • There is a salon right next door to the hotel.   ugh..I can't remmber the name...hold on.

  • Here you go.  I mean, they are right below the hotel, closest you are going to get.

OR, there is Cameo Day Spa on Mifflin St. (1 block away).

  • I like Cameo Day Spa.
  • Elevation Spa and Salon is right off the square.  I also like Cameo.

  • I went to Sojo Blau for my wedding hair (it was Saph and Blau then) it is a block off the square across the street from the Great Dane and above Madison's (the bar).
  • I went to studio 924 to get my hair done for my wedding. They are located on Johnson not far from the Capitol. I was very happy with them.

I would highly recommend Elevation. I got to Capitol fitness which it they gym that is attached to the Salon. I have had a few massages there and a pedicure. It is a great facility; very modern and Zen. All of the people who work there are very cute and well dressed with great hair.

I have also gone to Sojo Blau I WOULD NOT recommend Sidney...he is the worst stylist I have ever gone to...I am sure there are other people who are fine there but please do not see him!!!

I go to Cha Cha currently which is right next to Cafe Montmartre off the square. I absolutely love that place. I have been going there for over a year now. It is very fun place to get your hair done with talented stylist and they have extremely reasonable prices. I would recommend seeing Jason or Robin. Although everyone there is good.

Studio Quest is also downtown. I saw a great stylist there before she moved. You might want to look into that one as well. This is also right of the square.

I live downtown and have been to quite a few salons before I found one that I really liked. There are plenty to choose from.
