Carpet Town, Carpet Land

Hi,
Does anyone have any rants/raves about either Carpet Town or Carpet Land in West Allis? Or other recommendations for carpet retaillers/installers?

I am personally a fan of Home Depot - there is one in West Allis off of National and Hwy 100.

I use carpetland for both personal and commercial.  I am very happy with them.

Tebouk -- did you have any trouble with the installation at HD? I've heard bad things about their contractors. Glad to hear you had a good experience.

Also, it's good to hear about commercial and home applications with CL. I think CT is pretty $$ and I wasn't sure if it was worth the extra money. We're going to a private sale at CT tomorrow and will now also go to CL and HD. Wow, that was a lot of acronyms.

I have not heard anything bad about the contractors.  Ours we're professional

We had bad contractors from HD (Grafton location). They didn't speak any english at all and installed the wrong pad. How do youtell someone they are installing the wrong thing when they don't speak english. That was interesting.

I wouldn't ever use a contractor from Home Depot. They are a gigantic ripoff.

Our floors are from Carpet Town and we LOVE them!!! The area rug too. It has held up very well. I think you def get what you pay for and the stuff at HD just doesn't compare. Good luck!
