Need Recs in Green Bay please...
There is a pretty good chance that we might be moving to the Green Bay area in early July so I'm trying to do some research ahead of time.
What area of town would you recommend? We are trying to stick to the East side and would like to be intown (Astor Park looks really nice online, is it really?)
Also, I need OBGYN and Hospital recs since our baby is due August 1st.
Thanks so much!

I live in DePere, right by Green Bay. Allouez is a great place to live! Astor Park is nice but to a certain extent, once you get past a certain point, the houses can get a little sketchy. I love De Pere, We live in East De Pere. Very family friendly, there are about 4 new babies in our neighborhood! There are some cute places to walk to but yet it's close enough to the mall and other places. Great parks and a great library with a play area for kids. I went to college here, moved away and moved back about 2 years ago. I have an 8 month old daughter.
My DR is great. I have Dr. Yoon Chun at OB-Gyn and Associates on Webster Avenue. When I delivered my daughter, one of her associates (Dr. Steele) delivered her and I LOVED her too. She was great! I didn't care for the 2 men in the practice but love the 2 women and all their nurse practioners! I delivered at Bellin and couldn't have been more happier. I had some complications after birth and the nurses were so nice and friendly. They even came by the next days to check on me. My friend delivered there and had a great experience too. I went back a few days later and brought the nurses some muffins to thank them.
I would be happy to email you more about this. My email is jennica1128@hotmail.com if you are interested. Good luck!
I saw an OB in GB for a little while, but I wouldn't recommend him. He was at the Webster clinic, Dr. Stevens. I also had a problem with one of the nurses there, she tried to tell me that the BC I had been using for the past year didn't exist when I tried to refill my script and got really nasty on the phone. It was really not professional. I wasn't going back there, otherwise I would have complained...just left a bad taste in my mouth.
I live in GB. We live by Lambeau. Far enough away though so game days don't bother us but close enough to walk to the games.
I go to Prevea clinic and my OB is Dr. Erich Metzler. He is amazing. I never feel rushed or anything with him. I also go to St. Vincent hospital. DH works there too.
