As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Vent - City of Milwaukee Parks
I want to have DD's birthday party at the park across the street from
my house which has a small indoor facility, restrooms, a kids park and
a couple softball fields. I was told because there is no "picnic area"
they will not issue me a "picnic permit" for $65 but instead I have to
get a "special event" permit for $350!!! What??? Do you know how much I
already pay this dumb city for taxes?? No one uses this park so I could
just take my chances and have it there with no permit but then we could
get into trouble for having beer there and not having beer is not
really an option. UGH. I emailed my County Supervisor, my guess is she
will not be able to help me but it was worth a try. Guess I have to
come up with a new idea!
