Hello! I am throwing my sister-in-law a baby shower this weekend and need some help. Looking for suggestions for games. I am planning on one game, which will be a "who knows the mom best type of game"....example of questions are....
-what has mom been craving the most during her pregnancy?
-what is the theme of the nursery?
I seem to be at a loss for ideas for questions. I would appreciate any suggestions. TIA!!
Re: baby shower help!
I'm not a big fan of games, but I really liked decorating onesies for the mom. You can have a variety of pens, stencils, markers, paints, bedazzlers even. You can hang them up on clotheslines for decoration/display and then the mom to be can pick a fav for the winner.
Otherwise, I would suggest baby gift bingo. Played like bingo but with baby gift items instead of numbers (like diapers, blankets, car seat, stuffed animals, books, etc). Hand out bingo cards with various gifts that the mom-to-be might open and they check them off as she opens them.
Its hilarious to see how off people are. Even new moms don't really have an advantage. Then the mom to be gets to take all the stuff home!

Baby trivia is fun. Example:
When does baby recognize mom's voice?
In 1900 what color designated boy? (ans. is pink)
How many bones are baby born with?
Oh, I forgot about the Price is Right one. My friend had that at her baby shower a few years ago. I might have to give up on my original idea.
another thing we did was bring a package of diapers and decorated the outside of it to say "middle of the night diapers" .. we then let everyone write something on one of them for mom/dad to get a giggle out of in the middle of the night (i.e. "remember the time...." )
for prizes, i did a "Baby Yourself" kit -- the travel size packages of the following with ideas on how to put them to use..
1. baby wipes (makeup remover, removes deodorant stains from clothes, polish shoes)
2. baby lotion (well..just lotion, I guess)
3. baby oil (to put on legs after shaving, soften cuticles, soften eyebrows before tweezing, use on dry, cracked feet then put socks on)
