Wow...BRU (in Brookfield) was packed today!

I'm sure it was the combination of the warmer weather and it being a Sunday, but man was Babies R Rus busy today!  Dh, DD, and I had to go there to get a baby gate for the stairs and some safety stuff (yeah we are a little behind on the baby proofing).  We also had to get some things for my cousin's baby registry.  The line for that was 10 people long!  Is it alwasys that busy?  I'm thinking it must be because theirs that one and the one in Madison.  Dh and I agreed never to go there on a weekend again )

I went on a saturday a couple weeks ago and it was a zoo! Never again.

DH and I were in the area today and decided to check it out.  It took us about 15 min to find an open parking spot!  I think we only spent about 5 min in the store, it was impossible to even get down some of the aisles there were so many people there.  DH has vowed never to step foot in there again, which will make registering quite impossible.

Go on a weekday.   Much better.  I will never go in there on a weekend again.  Not worth my sanity.

We registered at the Madison one on Saturday. I was worried that they would run out of registry guns, but suprisingly it was fine. : )  We spent over 4 hours in that place.  MY GOOD NESS!

I hear that they are opening a BRU in Appleton and Racine!!

I know for sure they are opening one in Racine. We bid that job at work.

I was there for their Grand Opening and it was nuts.  I cannot believe they don't have more stores around.  They do have a nice selection of baby products and they have cute clothes for a reasonable price.

I was there on Sunday too.  I had to park in the very back and carry my very heavy toddler all the way to the store just to get some diapers.    They need a bigger parking lot.  The store actually didn't feel that crowded.

The one in Appleton opened last fall. A few weeks ago we were there on a Saturday and it was super busy as well! The first time I was there to register  (in the middle of the week, so not too busy) the person who helped me said they had over 50 people register the weekend before. I have been there 3 times and each time they were out of the welcome package, so I gave up on that.

If you can, go on a weeknight....especially for anyone that needs to register.  It's nice and quiet on weeknights.  I will never go on a weekend again.
