Hey girls! I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Andrea and I'm still new to the area. I just found the board yesterday and since I survived my first ever tornado warning and sirens, I thought I'd say HI! We moved here last June after DH and I got married. He got a promotion and that's what brought us here. We used to live in Rochester, NY. So I'm used to LOTS of SNOW. Not TORNADO'S! So anyway I just wanted to introduce myself.
Re: New Here!
I can also relate to the snow. I spent 12 years of my life in New Hampshire.
Welcome to the board!
welcome! welcome! we're glad to have you in hsv, and on the board! i'm a transplant to hsv myself, but i'm originally from s. fla. dh and i moved up 5.5 yrs ago b/c i got a job after college. yea last night's weather was kind of scary, but i'm glad nothing major happened. i'm used to hurricanes, not tornados, so i get really flustered when i hear the sirens.
anyway, some of us hsv nesties are getting together for dinner tonight. if you have some time, and would like to join us you are more than welcome. just send me an email (twtorres@gmail.com), and i'll give you the details.
