So happy to be in Portland!
I just wanted to say that I am extremely happy that I moved here. I am now working in a job that I LOVE and would not have been able to get anything near the satisfaction at home. I miss our family and friends, but it makes such a difference to be working in a field where you really feel you can contribute and throughly enjoy what you are doing.
I also met with my new doctor today and I am so happy that he is so energetic and proactive about my health and therapy. I think Portland is very forward in terms of health care. I feel liberated with all of my choices here. I can't forget the weather and scenery that also makes this a great place!
It will definitely be hard when we move back home someday (to start the family and all!) Just wanted to gush about Portland, thanks for letting me share!
