Tailors in NW portland

I am looking for a tailor to hem some jeans/work pants in NW Portland..can anyone suggest one that is good ( one that will sew the bottom back on) and moderately priced? Thanks!!

Given what you are having done, I'd just take it to your drycleaner (I use Levine's on SW Burnside, if you're looking for a rec). If it's something more difficult (restructuring a suit jacket or more), I'd take it to Michael Allen's (men's store but he does custom work & tailoring for women) and there's a guy out in Beaverton I used to use, if I can find his card, I'll let you know. He was amazing. I had him do all my suits and everything (including taking out the shoulder pads, which required some major work for things to lay right without them). I haven't had Michael Allen's do anything for me but I have friends that won't go anywhere else and Mike does some spectacular custom work from what I've been told.

Also, Nordstrom will tailor things that aren't purchased there.

I've always had good luck with Nordstrom's tailoring for jeans--they replace the original hem for a nominal fee, and they can rush the order if need be. I've taken them in at 7pm and picked them up the next day at 10am a few times. Also, they'll replace your jeans if they mess them up in any way (shorten them too much, whatever.) But that's never happened to me.

Hey there, I do alterations if you can't find anywhere else to get them done.  I live in NW, but could also fit them on you at your place if that works better for you.
