A small request
Hi ladies,
I don't usually post stuff like this, but I have a small request. A wonderful teen I've had the privilege (sp?) of mentoring over the past year has just been diagnosed with leukemia. She is 17 years old, and getting ready to graduate from Gladstone High School. Marissa is one of the most compassionate, sweet, and genuine young ladies I've ever known. Whether or not she will make it to/through the bone marrow transplant and beyond is still unknown, and she's very scared. Whether you pray, meditate, whatever, if you have a moment will you send some good karma her way? Her family is terrified they may lose her, and on top of that they live a very humble lifestyle and don't know where they'll find the funds for her treatment. She needs all the good thoughts she can get.
