Kentucky lake/waverly area

DH and I are looking into a property around there but haven't been to the area and are trying to decide if it is worth the trip to see it.  Can you tell me more about the lake and Waverly area?  Restaurants, shops, etc?  Thanks

Re: Kentucky lake/waverly area

  • the lake is so much fun.. i grew up going and now we have a house out there, but north closer to KY than Waverly. expect a lake town not a regular town... not much going on except during boating months. not too many restaurants. we have probably 4 restaurants and a couple of small groceries. Most people have "lake homes" so during the winter its pretty deserted so they usually dont have many established businesses for that reason. Waverly has more than that tho... its a cute little town. Hope this helps.
