Re: Local Celeb Spottings

  • I actually feel sort of protective of some of them, especially with their children. I was upset for Nicole that her picture with Sunday was in US Weekly on the way into Gymboree class a couple weeksago

I agree. They are human, they also need privacy and time with their families like the rest of us.

Triple ditto. ?I'll admit it's a little exciting if I do see them, but I would never take a photo of them, or approach them AT ALL. ?I just smile a little because I think it's cool. ?Then I'll tell my friends later on I saw someone famous. ?But I would NEVER actively seek out anyone. ?The last thing we want is for Nashville to turn into LA.

i totally get excited when I see someone famous but now that we see a famous baby every week with her parents or nanny I really feel for the stars trying to live a "normal" life

  • I also agree. I have a lot of clientele that are famous for various reasons....whether they are singers, musicians, actors, producers, etc... But, I don't like to disclose private info. I respect their privacy & they trust me with it since I go into their houses. You just treat them like normal people. They love the Nashville area because it is so laid-back. I would hate for that to change.
  • Wow. I had no idea I would be getting this type of feedback. Its funny that even though you all said you dont agree with my blog, that you still actually visited my blog.
  • I am a nanny, and the family I take care of are 3 doors down from Nicole and Keith, and Nick Carter is down the street also.  I admit I'm giddy when I first see them, but never let it show! I've met many in the area because of where I am on a daily basis, and they are so normal, and 99% of the time just want to be left alone. It shows on their faces that they have a hard time trusting and afraid everyone just wants to get paid for the gossip they see/hear.
