What's for Dinner?

Re: What's for Dinner?

  • I hear cupcakes are good for a calorie-controlled diet.
Baby Birthday Ticker Ticker Baby Birthday Ticker Ticker
  • Eh... I had planned on trying a new recipe for fettucini alfredo but DH suggested Chilis. (sigh.... Im not a chain fan) :( We're still deciding...
  • I am breaking down and ordering in tonight. I was home a few days this week and cooked from scratch all week, I need a break. After a week of chicken noodle soup from scratch, brisket, lemon poppy seed chicken, salmon with honey-hoison sauce and brown rice with broccoli - I am ready to make a phone, have something delivered and throw the "dishes" away.
  • My mom is making us dinner.  She is making this really good pasta dish.....I should get the recipe from her and post it.....it is so good.  That is if you like garlic and olive oil.
  • Circa- I want to be married to you ; )  That all sounds delish.

Shannon- I love me some olive oil and garlic.
  • Aww, you're the sweetest! My husband works really hard + I love cooking. So, when I have a week like this, I spend half of it in the kitchen. The only thing that went wrong was I couldn't find my usual brisket recipe, used a different one and the cloves were overwhelming in the veggie portion. Which is a real pisser after you spend 4-5 hours cooking something, you know?

So, what did you decide for dinner? I am currently going through take out menus!
  • DH just emailed that he's bringing dinner home and that I should pick up a couple of bottles of wine.  He suggested staying in and playing Trivial Pursuit since he knows I had a shiit day and am dead tired : )  Man, I love that guy.
