Other than COMCAST

Who do you use of internet/tv?

Do you like them?  If you don't mind, how much do you spend a month on both?

I'm sooo sick of Comcast and I'm thinking of getting rid of them when we move.

Re: Other than COMCAST

  • we have no other choice but to use RCN.    i don't think they are any better/worse than comcast.     both suck.   a lot.

we don't pay for basic cable (its included in our rent payment/building assessment), but all of the upgrades for movie channels, on demand, HD, DVR.... plus internet, come to roughly $90-100/month.

    Because we're fancy like that.

  • I enjoy Direct TV & I think we spend around $80/mo.
  • We like Direct TV......not sure what we pay, but we don't have HBO/other movie channels.

For internet and phone we have AT&T and they are pretty good. No problems.

Warning No formatter is installed for the format bbhtml
  • We have AT&T for cable and internet  Cable is HD and internet is ethernet so it is super fast.  We switched from comcast easter weekend.  I'm not sure about the exact price but it is cheaper than comcast.  We love the service and have had no problems with it.
  • We have Dish Network (HD, 3 DVRs, no premium channels), DSL, and a bare-bones landline, all through AT&T for $104.
  • We use WOW, Wide Open West.  It is only available in some suburbs, but it is great.  We are paying way less than we did with Comcast and are getting much more.  We have high speed internet, phone with unlimited local and long distance and caller ID, and TV with HBO, Starz, and 2 HD DVRs for $130 a month.
