How did the adoption show go on Saturday? Who'd you hold/did they get adopted? I love the shows where a bunch of dogs get adopted

The show went well. I held Cari and she got adopted by a nice young guy who wanted an older dog- her health probs didn't bother him at all. She went home with the foster bc he had to put a deposit in at his apt before they'd let him have her, but he signed the papers and she's adopted. I also got handed Baxter, who did nothing but snort kibble from under the shelving in the dog & Cat food aisles!
Gunner & Kyle went to one family with two pre-teen, teen boys, Caleb went to a lady who is going to foster/possibly adopt. A cat or two went home, but the puppies stayed. I feel like there was someone else who got adopted but I don't remember.
How did the house hunt go?

I saw your post about Izzy and your parents' dog - that stinks that it didn't go well. Hopefully it's just that Izzy's too energetic for him right now and they'll get along better once she chills out a little...3 years from now
The house hunt went pretty well - I think we saw close to 10 places! Nothing we're going to put an offer in on, but they were a lot closer to what we're looking for, so that's encouraging
I guess we'll have to wait and see if we do a doggy play date after the birthday party. I'm taking a foster tomorrow, but after this one I might have to take a real break (not the fake 3 day and 1.5 week breaks I've been taking so far, hehe) to see how our work schedules end up. Have a blast in Florida! Apparently it's supposed to snow here on Friday, so enjoy the weather a little extra for all of us stuck over here!
Getting the truck must be so much fun too to see the new animals needing homes (aside from also being sad). Is the party on Sunday like, we have to be there all four hours, or no? I haven't decided what I will bring yet- maybe some blankets if they're still on sale at Target.
Good luck with the new foster! Yay! Get one that's like, 30 lbs, so Nora and Izzy & Raven can all play with them w/out breaking new dog. Yep- do that.
