DH is Mexican, but gets mistaken for Laotian all the time because of his eyes. What is your DH?

I don't know why, but Lao was the first thought I had when I met him. And the other day at his new job, someone else asked him if he was from Laos! It's because he has tribal/native eyes; his grandparents on his dad's side are a high percentage native Mexican, but for some reason his dad looks white. Plus his accent for some reason isn't what you'd consider "Mexican." I've never heard an accent like his before.
I guess ethnicity is a funny thing sometimes!
