I don't post very often, but I had to comment on "you." 
You say you are a teacher?  How do you find the time to post all day long?  Shouldn't you be teaching your students?  Are you giving them seatwork/busy work all day just so you can be on the nest?

I am not on here all day.  I actually am only on here MAYBE before school or on my lunch.  I teach special ed Resouce, which also means that alot of the time I don't have any kids in my room.  I have a lot of empty time wtih no kids duing my day.

Gee, when I was a teacher, there was still work to do before school, after school, and every moment that there were not children in my classroom.  Every good special education teacher I've known was hard pressed to find a moment of free time during the day...especially in spring.  This is the time of year you should be prepping for annual reviews, IEP meetings, and re-evals, is it not?

I worked with special needs students for over a decade, and I am sickened by your clear lack of commitment.  I feel so sorry for these children.  They are not getting the attention they deserve, and the combination of your inattentiveness and apparent psychological issues most certainly make you an unfit teacher.

     I do not know you, but I can tell you are type of person who enjoys drama.  And even worse, drama on an internet message board.  You aren't even having "real-life" drama, you are having "internet drama".  You are trying to provoke people into having these lil internet arguments with you, and I think that is sad.  You keep making these post about things that were supposedly said about you on here, and you seem absolutely crazy.  Even if its true that those things have been said about you, you are acting like a teenage girl who is stuck in freshman year of high school.  A normal person would make one post *F*** you all* and stop coming back to this board.  But not you, you LIKE stirring up Drama, and making this board absolutely ruined for everyone else.  I will probably not come back to the Knot or the Nest after this because I am absolute SICK of people like you who don't seem to have a life away from the computer, and make up stupid lies about yourself on here to get attention. Most of us want to come to the Knot/Nest for conversation, advice, and entertainment.  And lately all we get are stupid girls like you.  And as far as you being a special ed teacher, my brother has down syndrome, and I would be absolutely horried if someone like you were his teacher.

I was a teacher for 5 years in high school before I went back to school and became an aide for Special Ed.  Now I am teaching  it.  So to answer your question yes you do have to be a teacher to get that award.   thanks for asking!
