Just moved, need Dr. recommendations

Hi all,

We just moved to West Babylon and I need some Dr. referrals.  Anyone know any good ob/gyns and/or general practitioners in the area?

I live in West Babylon.  However, I still go to my ob/gyn in Bellmore, it is about a half hour away.  His name is Dr. Nathanson and the practice is Long Island Women's Healthcare on Merrick Road in Bellmore.  I have not been to a General Practitioner in WB, but my sister in law goes to Dr. Terranova on Little East Neck. 
How are you liking West Babylon?  We moved from Long Beach and had a bit of adjusting when we moved.

Hi Karen,

Thanks for the Dr. recommendations.  It is tough to pick a doctor when you don't know anyone out here.  We moved here from Queens about 6 months ago (I guess finding a dr. hasn't been top priority).  We are getting to know the area, but I know what you mean.  It has definitely been an adjustment!

It might be a bit of a hike for you, but my OB/GYN is the BEST! I LOVE him! He just delivered my son 2 months ago, and im so upset that i wont get to see him again til my next pap smear! His name is Dr. Michael Mesbah, and he is located in Garden City. Seriously the BEST and most caring dr that i have ever met! Good luck!

Hello.  I go to South Shore OBGYN... It's on Main St/Montauk Hwy in Babylon.. just at the end of 231.  I see Dr Lockhardt, she's really nice.. Hope this helps!

I'm in West Babylon too!  Are you or your husband part of the fire dept?
I moved there from Malverne, so I kept my GYN in Rockville Centre and I love their office - all women!
Where in WB are you?

I've been a little slow on making some appointments, although I did look up all the drs. that people suggested.  I have an appointment with one GP tomorrow, but is in Garden City, since that is where I work.

Good to hear from someone else in the area!  How long have you been here?  My husband and I moved to the area about a year ago.  We aren't with the fire department (although we hear the engines quite often). :-)  How long have you been here?
