Hey there...I'm 14 weeks!  And I grew up on Long Island, Mineola to be exact.  I go to a dr. there and his name is Dr. Nadel.  LOVE him!  He makes me so at ease...My mom goes to him too and she just had a hysterectomy (so other side of the ball game), but she was so happy with his bedside manner, and calming ability!

I see Dr. Sicuranza in Mineola. She also works over at Winthrop which is the place we'll be giving birth at in about four weeks (eek!) I also like the group practice across the street from Sicuranza's and the woman I saw there was Dr. Neisenbaum (she isn't an Ob anymore - just Gyn - but the other doctors there are good as well).

I see Dr.Kastner of Women's Contemporary Care.  It is a group practice; the one associated with Dr.Sicurenza mentioned above.  Dr. Kriner is from that practice too, and she is really nice.  They deliver at Winthrop.  This is my second pregnancy and I had my son at Winthrop-a great place to deliver.  They also have a NICU if it is needed for your baby when you give birth.

My OB/GYN is Dr. Angelo Garrido in Garden City on Stewart Ave.  I think he is great and so is his staff.  He has a pretty big pratice and all the other doctors seem very nice too.  I just had lap surgery in October and they really did a great job.  Good Luck!!!
