Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Playdate group
Not sure how many are interested, But I am a member of a Michigan mom group called Michigan mom squad. www.michmomsquad.com. It has many Lansing area moms. Its nice to get together with other moms once in awhile.

I know, playdate groups have saved my sanity! I am not from the Lansing area, I grew up in Oakland County, so when I moved here and had a baby, it was hard, once we got out and I met some moms and went to play dates, life was much better!
Michigan Mom Squad is message board style. So we talk about every day things, get advice, ect. And they also do Moms Night Out and Playdates. There is a fee to join, $6 a year(For board maintenance and things like that), but newbies get a few months free to check it out and decide if they like it or not.
