Re: Alliance Group

  • They are very friendly and knowledgable! I hear that when you are pregnant you will see a different doctor each time you go in, because you don't know who will actually deliver your baby until you go into labor. My SIL told me that so I assume it's true. Either way, they are all great!
  • I have gone there for years and their new office is amazing... plus I love that they have a lab right there on site.. no more running all over to find someone to draw blood. I dont have any children so I dont know first hand .. but my SIL has been with them for all three children and when my niece passed away and my SIL was 8 mths pregnant... they were beyond amazing with her.
Yes you do see all the doctors when you are PG... because you are not guaranteed one specific dr. when you deliver.. but they are all great and I believe this is how most OB practices are.. but I could be wrong!!!
  • First of all, congrats on your pregnancy! I can't say enough good things about them. At your first visit, you will meet with a NP to discuss lots of different things such as what to eat during pregnancy, etc. I can't really remember everything they go over with you but it is a very informative visit.

Do you know who your doctor is going to be? I see Dr. Fleming and I am very pleased with her, but I'm in the process of rotating doctors and all have been great.

    Good luck!
  • LOVE alliance!  I see Dr Halvorson.

First visit is a sit and talk and get bloodwork.  They discuss stuff with you and give you plenty of time for questions as well.  I am starting my rotation to see other docs with my next visit (24 weeks).  There are small bios about the docs and NPs on their website if you are interested in knowing a little about who you are seeing:)

Have you visited the 1st trimester board on the nest baby yet?  I visit the trimester boards and have found them to be helpful.  My biggest suggestion is vitamin b-6 for morning (all day)sickness.

  • I go to Alliance for OBGYN.  I see Dr. Halvorson!  I have no complaints at all.  The whole staff is nice!  They have walked me throught with what I have and all the steps that I have to go through.

I'm sure that you will like them!  I'm sure they will do some blood work and ask you tons of questions!
  • I believe Dr Garrison she said would be my doctor.  Dr. Maude Garrison?  I'm wondering if I will be getting a pap exam on my frist visit.  Or if its just going over medical history and bloodwork. Sounds like the ladder.

The Trimester boards have become my newest addiction!!!

    Thanks everyone?
