your favorite kiawah things to do?
we are headed down to kiawah island next weekend, thurs afternoon til sun morning/afternoon, renting a condo in the mariner's watch area. our only plans thus far are to hopefully book massages at the sanctuary, do lots of relaxing & prob bring our bikes for riding around the island.
any restaurant or other interesting things to do rec's? we may or may not go into charleston for dinner one night- as much as I'd like to, our goal is pretty much to relax so we may just stick to the local area...

Re: your favorite kiawah things to do?
you pretty much summed up everything there is to do on the island. one of our favorite things to do is bike on the beach down to the inlet. the sand is hard enough for bikes and be sure to bring a backpack to collect cool shells and driftwood. also the kayaking is great. you have the new "shopping area" at Fresh Fields that has a few stores, coffee shops ect...
oh i forgot you can take an eco tour out of Bohicket Marina and they will take you on a boat to the out islands for an afternoon and you can go exploring..if the weather is nice i would totally do this!

I know this sounds odd but on your way home, I've heard the goodwill (or it maybe be habitat for humanity) as you leave kiawah has awesome things. I've always wanted to go, but haven't.
