South Carolina Nesties
Dear Community,
Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.
If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.
Thank you.
Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.
Do you have pets? Do you have loved ones who have pets? If you answered yes to either, then I have another question - are they spayed or neutered?
"
One un-spayed female dog and one un-neutered male dog and their offspring can produce 4,372 puppies in 7 years. For cats it is even worse. One un-spayed female cat and one un-neutered male cat and their offspring results in 420,000 kittens in 7 years."

Re: Message from Mari
We have a cat and a dog that both came from the local shelter SPCA, so yes they are both spayed!
But we have many cats roaming the neighborhood, and I wonder about them...
I hear ya Southern Dalai Lama, most people don't realize what impact their choice to not the spay or neuter their pets makes on the community. Not to mention the sad reality that a lot of those cute animals will be put down as a result.
Thanks for preaching the good word.
