So DH and I aren't avid church goers...we both joined our churches as teenagers at home, but haven't done much once moving here to Charleston. It doesn't help we have no family here, so our "ties" aren't here.
I feel like I'm searching for the a church that is just like my old church. Isn't that silly?
I really want to be with ppl our own age (27) and not only 70 and up! It's so hard to find. So this morning I'm trying St. Andrews Presbyterian in West Ashley. I'll let you know how it goes.
Re: Church
Westminster Presbyterian on Sam Rittenberg Blvd.. Rev Tammy Brown is fantastic... I told my husband the only way we would be married in a church is to find someone that relates the bible to today's life not way back when.. She does that and more.. She ended up marrying us and she always adresses us by our first names and so do some of the members..We loved westminster lots of younger families and great atmosphere.. try it you will love them..
Hope that helps
