brentwood/franklin sushi/japanese place?

I remember reading several of you rave about a sushi / japanese place somewhere in the Brentwood/Franklin area. Can someone tell me the name again?

Re: brentwood/franklin sushi/japanese place?

  • Might have been Omikoshi. It is right in front of the movie theater in Cool Springs.YUMMY!

  • Peter's Sushi in Brentwood is great.  It is on Franklin Rd behind Chick-fil-A & Borders.  We also love Hanabi in Maryland Farms - it is always less crowded than Peter's.
  • I always hear good things about Miyako. I don't eat sushi anymore. I lived in Japan for awhile, so I guess I have become kind of an Asian food snob. The Japanese & Asian food around here....with the exception of like Royal Thai is not that good....and I don't think sushi in the eastern US is that good at all. JMHO! You should definately try out Royal Thai in Cool Springs....it is really good!
  • I've never eaten at Peter's, but my husband raves about it.  We typically only go to Shintomi--it's the only place in town where my Japanese former co-workers would go for sushi in town.  I know it's not Brentwood/Franklin, but I thought I'd throw that out there.
  • Another vote for Peter's here!
April is National Grilled Cheese Month. How are you celebrating? image
  • peter's is always awesome, sake is mmokay and i have not been impressed with omikoshi. To each his own though. Try them and fnd the one you like.
  • It was probably me and Miyako :) It's my favorite place on earth! They have the BEST sushi!

Peter's is OK (he used to work at Miyako), but you get way more food at miyako and I just find it fresher and better. The people at Miyako are great - I love the owners!
