Anyone use Derby Photography in South Bend??

He was our wedding photographer in July 2006 and I was wondering if anyone else has used him before? I can't remember if after a certain amount of years he lets you own the proofs. Anyone know?

I love Jospeh.  He did my first wedding, my brother'swedding, two cousins wedding, and my brother's best friends wedding.  He also does all of our family photos.  The family joke is we built his studio addition at his home. 

I want to say it is a year, possibly two.  I'll ask my parents and see if they remember tonight.  It's been a long time since we used him for wedding stuff.  We have learned with Jospeh that if you refer enough business to him he makes some exceptions.

I emailed him and for $200 I can own a CD of the proofs. Does that sound about right? I like Joseph, too.

I had contacted him once about it, but never got a clear response.  My wedding was in 2004.  I was going to try again and see if I could get the proofs also.  I have a cd of proofs, but you can't use any of the images because they are imbedded.  I think our original contract was like 5-7 years before you could get them, but I think he's flexible.

FYI - I wrote Joseph to see if the length of time since the wedding made a difference.  Our wedding was 4 years ago and he said it would be $550 normally, but he's running a special for $200.  We spent SO much on the photos to start with that I still can't justify another $200.  At this stage, no one really is asking for pictures any more any way.  While I'd love to have them, I don't exactly know what I'd do with them once I got them.
