I have an insurance plan at Jared's, where DH bought my rings, and I have to take it in every 6 months! They clean it and do a polishing etc.
In between, I use this purple spray I got at the mall. Im not sure what is in it but it definitely leaves my rings shiny! lol.
We also bought the ring cleaner at the jeweler, and I let it soak in there every once in a while. I brings a small brush that helps get into the diamond area (and other crevisis) to take out dirt, etc.
DH's ring was bought at Jared too, and that policy JLo spoke of us amazing! We take his ring in yrly for polishing and they fill in scratches. And if it gets to the point that the scratches can't be removed, they will replace the ring (even though I wouldn't want that b/c this is the orig, but nice option).
