Scary!!!
Thats my first one. Lived here a year....haven't felt a real one yet! WHEW!!
I'm guessing thats a pretty substantial one for the area?

It was 5.01 and it was centered 63 miles NW of Anchorage.
I wouldn't call it "substantial", but it did catch my attention when I was in the 3-storey building this afternoon.

I came in here to wave hi to flexible bride and see how she was doing. Your earthquake post caught my eye because we just moved from the East Coast to L.A. and I am convinced that we will have a major one and I will just pack up and go home.
I mentioned it to a friend the other day and he freaked out and yelled at me not to say the word outloud around here.....bad karma.
Hope the plates stay in place for a while!!!
