Moving to Anchorage ?? Maybe??
My husband and I are both school psychologists and I am wondering if anyone knows someone that I can contact to learn more about the Anchorage school system (someone who has "worked" in the trenches and knows all the ins and outs)? I grew up in the Upper Peninsula of MI, next to Lake Superior, and I am so homesick for the North it is unreal :>(

I know Service HS is one of the better schools. Many of our friends refer to that area as the more well off area.
I dont know if that was the type of info you were looking for. I wouldnt move to AK for any reason. My DH would like to retire there because he felt like Valdez was a perfect place to grow up.
