Long shot - Anchorage Hokies?
Waving hi from DC!
Some friends and I are taking a cruise in your lovely state (sooooo excited!) and we will end in Anchorage. We will be there on opening day for College Football, and one of the group is a huge Hokie Fan. Any chance there is a place where any other Hokies might watch teh game?
We are looking at Humpy's unless someone has a better suggestion?

Not a Hokie fan, but I am an ACC fan (Go Terps!). I'm assuming you'll be staying downtown, so Humpy's would be a good choice. If you can get out of downtown though, I like watching games at the Peanut Farm.
Where is this other place and is it worth it to get there?
I didn't go to U. of Maryland, but I grew up in Maryland (in Montgomery County) and have been a life long Terps fan.
The reason I like Peanut Farm is because they have really, really huge t.v.'s - much bigger than Humpy's. And I think they have a better sattelite package. If you want to check out the Peanut Farm, it is on the corner of Old Seward and Northern Lights. It's really easy to get to. If you take a cab - they'd definitely know where it is.
