Eureka Springs or Hot Springs accomodations

Hi ladies,

DH and I were thinking of going to stay at a cabin or bed and breakfast in Hot Springs or Eureka Springs mid-March. Do any of you have any recommendations of which location or accomodations?

We're located in the Oklahoma City area, so either town is about a 5 hour drive for us.

Re: Eureka Springs or Hot Springs accomodations

  • it really depends on what kind of area you're going for. they're both popular tourist areas with art communities. if you're looking for a little victorian style place nestled in the mountains, go for eureka springs (and eat at local flavor! it's really great!). plus branson is pretty close if you're into that sort of thing. if you want something that offers more urban-like accomadations, try hot springs (my hometown!). there are also a few shows, a great variety of restaurants (belle arti, the italian villa, la hacienda, cafe 1217 are all wonderful) and plenty of art galleries. the hamilton house b&b is stunning and located on the lake. hilltop manor is also beautiful, but is located closer to the downtown area (i have friends who owned the property for years and it's very beautiful with lovely fireplaces). hope i helped a bit!
  • quick disclaimer- i know that hilltop has been remodeled since i last saw it!
