Did you happen to find out from the midwives how early in the morning and late in the afternoon they are available for inseminations?  Just curious.

The long back story is that C and I have been thinking about selling my car now that I'm working in the city, and then I suddenly realized that I might need it if there's ever an insem appt when Cecilia can't come with me.  I could take public transit - but it looks like it would take forever.  C would generally be able to go (it's only once a month after all), but if it were ever a problem, being able to do it late/early could make a difference and enable her to come with me.

we only had one insem on a weekday and that was done in the afternoon when the midwife that was doing them was available.  Around 2 I think.  On the weekends they like to do the insems. between 9-10 I think.  They did do an insem early for us once because we needed to leave town.

oh and next spring I could usually take you after 2:30 as long as it would be ok for baby g to tag along!

i *think* she said during the week they do IUIs from 9-4.

That's very nice of you to offer! We're starting in August/September, so you may be a little preoccupied

In all likelihood, C will be able to go with me.  It is only once a month, and who knows if it will even land on a weekday, and if I once had to take that long MBTA journey, I would live (I could even take a cab partway).  My wheels just started turning - you know how it goes with all the what-ifs!
